Expertise with coffee brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to ensure an enjoyable experience and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers to the caffe, take their orders, ensure a happy customer experience and create a customer-referring customer
- Describe menu items as necessary and suggest products to customers
- Ensure that all equipment is fully operational and in its utmost condition while following operating instructions
- Ensure full compliance to health and safety regulations; maintain a clean and organized work areas
- Create & organize merchandise display and keep inventory stock at optimal level
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiative by noting circumstances involving customer experience and analyzing processes that may need redesigning
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as Barista
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
- Flexible to work in shifts
- Team player qualities
- Customer oriented and can positively impact customers
- Passion for coffee; passion for learning
